Ocean Academy Charter School

Welcome to Ocean Academy!

As the Head of School, it is my pleasure to have been involved in the development and implementation of the first charter school in Ocean County.  Ocean Academy Charter School is the result of years of preparation combined with determination and hard work. I am thrilled to be part of the fantastic team that brought this school to Lakewood.

The 2017-18 school year will be filled with many exciting new opportunities for our students and families.  With a rigorous curriculum, gifted teachers and excellent support staff, we are expecting great things.  We have a student to staff ratio of 8:1 and an educational approach that is responsive to student learning styles and individual abilities.

To our families, thank you for being willing to try something new. Many of you never heard of a charter school before Ocean Academy came to Lakewood, yet you trusted us to provide a quality education to your precious children and we won’t disappoint you.  We want you to be involved, and together we will see good things happening here.
